The Story

I’m just a circus carnie with an affinity for googly eyes, photography, and all things music & technology.

Garrett was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he spent most of his life. Growing up he was a competitive gymnast, but always had a keen interest in music. As his gymnastics career came to a close, he focused on theatre and the technical side of recording and mixing bands. This led to a long career in the entertainment industry.

From musical theatre, to recording studios & live concerts; Garrett has been blessed with many credits. At age 21 he was offered a position with Cirque Du Soleil touring the world full time. Over the next few years he would visit over 16 countries across 4 continents, showcasing Cirque’s world-class performances.

When the pandemic brought the entertainment industry to a screeching halt, Garrett continued to find new challenges and ways to learn. He picked up photography, woodworking, and design skills. He was then asked back to Cirque to be the head of sound on their newest show creation, “Mad Apple” in Las Vegas. He now runs manages the audio team at Mad Apple, which has the largest band in Cirque Du Soleil, and performs nearly 500 shows every year.

He is proud to hold a bachelors degree from the prestigious Berklee College of Music and an associates degree from The Los Angeles Recording School.

His diverse background and range of skills have undoubtedly shaped a multifaceted and accomplished professional journey.
